Dr. Alexandra Voganatsi graduated from Athens University with a D.D.S. degree in 1987. Upon the completion of her degree she received a two year DAAD-stipend for post graduate studies at the department of Periodontology at Philipps University of Marburg, West Germany. In 1989, she accepted a position of an assistant professor at the same university. In 1993 she received a Ph.D. (magna cum laude) in dentistry and a certigicate  in Periodontics. The same year, she received a fellowship of the German-American Max Kade-Foundation which enabled her to do specialized research at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), department of Periodontology and Oral Surgery. Dr. Voganatsi is a member of the German Association of Periodontics and the European Association of Periodontics. Since 1997, she had a private practice in Athens limited to Periodontics and Implant Surgery, and since 2011 she has also been an associate of private practices in Berlin, Germany, as a specialized periodontist and as consultant for specialized treatment plans.

Dr. Voganatsi is an experienced periodontist with more than twenty years experience offering periodontal and implant services based on the latest technology. Since 2016, is also a certified doctor for the cutting edge “pin hole” surgical technique – a novel approach to treating severe gum recession.
